As a Coordinator Application Tester, you will be part of the central application testing team at the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (SANTE). The team performs manual, regression, and automation tests on various applications.
Your main duties will be to:
- Create and maintain test cases based on user’s stories and use cases/requirements
- Execute all levels of testing (end-to-end integration system and regression)
- Write and maintain automation scripts
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Record and document test results and compare to expected results
- Provide timely solutions
- Create and update documentation and processes
- Coordinate a team of Junior and Medior Testers (Effectively managing, developing, and training the team, planning and assigning the testing tasks in coordination with all relevant stakeholders)
- Prepare regular status reports on end-to-end testing progress and activities
- Act as a liaison between Testing Team, Development Team and Project Management Team
If you have
- Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Knowledge in end user assistance of information systems
- Problem-solving skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies. Knowledge of Selenium, Java, HTML, XPath, GIT is a plus
- Knowledge of the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence and Zephyrs)
