Data Office Support

We currently have a vacancy for a Data Office Support on a contract of indefinite duration in the Regulatory & Business ServicesDivision. This role is aligned with the Bank Executive grade and the BE salary scale, between €34,470 and € 62,955 applies. Please click here for further information on our salary scales.

The Data Office Support person will be responsible for supporting the on-going administration of the newly created Data Office. Responsibilities include the provision of administrative services to the Data Board and Advisory Working Group, producing project artefacts and assisting in the management of communication and training plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide full administrative support to the Data Board and Working Advisory Group as required, and proactively identifying opportunities to support the Data Office in managing their administrative duties, facilitating the efficient and effective progression of data initiatives and related matters.
  • Attend meetings and minute/note actions arising and subsequent follow up, ensuring that accurate and timely records of such meetings and actions are created.
  • Collect and collate performance and financial metrics data, and other information requirements, to provide meaningful input for reports and dashboards produced by the Data Office.
  • Support the efficient and effective progression of data initiatives, which might include:
    • Creation of Data Board reporting packs
    • Preparation of ad-hoc reports, presentations and other artefacts for Data Board meetings and forums
    • Scheduling of meetings and forums to ensure continued focus on progress and alignment by managing the Data Board calendar
    • Monitoring of ongoing data initiatives for adherence with data strategy policies and standards
    • Assisting the People and Culture and/or Procurement teams to manage the contract process of new joiners to the Data Strategy team
    • Managing communications to and from the Data Strategy email account
  • Assist with the creation and circulation of communication and training plans to enable the successful implementation of the Bank’s data strategy. Work with the Data Office Analyst and others to provide timely communications regarding data initiatives in order to manage customer expectations and deliver a good service.
Requirements:
  • A qualification in a relevant area such as business, project management, IT or equivalent professional experience.
  • Relevant experience, e.g. providing support in a fast moving office environment and the ability to manage a number of tasks at once. Experience in a financial services or a professional services environment would be beneficial.
  • Strong IT skills with good knowledge of MS Office and Sharepoint.
  • Basic project management skills.
  • Some understanding/ experience in applying data manipulation and reporting in a business context.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI would be an advantage.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
