Job Description


ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

Overall responsibility for formulating and driving financial strategy for the organization. Responsible for accounting compliance, trade compliance, and legal aspects related to finance & partner business to execute the strategy.

DIMENSIONS

Direct and lead the finance department covering GL, AP, AR, Credit Collection, Treasury, FP&A, and Controllership.

Strategic business partner to General Manager closely collaborates with other functional heads.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Collaborate with all functions to achieve top-line and bottom-line targets of the company
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to formulate long-term strategic plan and direction of the organization
  • Drive transformational changes in the organization in line with strategic direction of the company.
  • Prepare the annual budget of the company and formulate strategies to achieve both the set top and bottom lines and routinely monitor company performance against the same.
  • Provide overall direction in terms of capital investment projects
  • Managing working capital.
  • Ensure that the Company Secretarial, Trade Compliance & Legal functions of the company are carried out appropriately
  • Responsible for submitting monthly management accounts and quarterly financial forecasts in line with corporate timelines
  • Overlook post-costing functions and profitability of retailer accounts.
  • Continuously improve Financial and Management Accounting / Information System and related internal controls.
  • Facilitate statutory and internal audits.
  • Overlook company credit control functions and approve credit to the customers.
  • Liaise with banks, BOI, auditors, secretaries, lawyers, suppliers, customers and other financial institutions.
  • Identify the training and development needs of the staff and ensure that they are addressed in time.
  • Take part in the global and regional Finance Controllers' meetings.
  • Overall responsibility for career development/ training/ succession planning for Finance team members.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent the company at various associations.
  • Meeting with customers and providing solutions for their needs.
  • Assisting in the manpower planning and HR development processes, EHS , ISO projects.
  • To motivate, coach and mentor direct reports.

Qualifications


WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
:

  • A member of ICASL, CIMA or ACCA with at least 10 years’ experience in financial management out of which 5 years should be at Finance Head equivalent ( manufacturing company experiences highly desired)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related education. A master's degree in Business Administration would be a great value
  • Excellent analytical skills, financial resources management skills, communication skills, people management skills, and interpersonal skills are essential
  • Excellent knowledge of the use of MS Office package
